Please Note: The Planning Register does not contain contact information for applicants or owners. It displays permit and application information lodged from 1 July 2013 to current. Older permit data will be added to the register over time. If you need to lodge an amendment or other matter related to an earlier permit, please contact the Planning Department during office hours for advice on how to proceed.
Planning Online is for registered users to lodge planning application documents, submissions and other planning information requests.
The Planning Register can be used by both registered users and guests to track an application's progress and view the outcome of any planning permit application.
Surf Coast Shire Council's Statutory Planning unit is responsible for:
- Assessing planning applications for the use and development of land;
- Assessing applications for the subdivision of land;
- Representing Council at planning appeals; and
- Providing general planning advice to the community on statutory planning matters.
Our Planning Counter is open 8.30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. We have planners on duty to assist with your general planning enquiries in person and by phone on 5261 0600. Please note that counter staff are unable to assist with unscheduled pre-application meetings or detailed advice – these matters must be lodged in writing requesting the relevant advice.
